Huawei Mate 10 Pro render images leaked with dual rear cameras

Huawei’s Mate 10 is expected to be unveiled on October 16 and the rumour mill is abuzz with leaks about specifications of the smartphone. Noted tipster Evan Blass has revealed a new image of the Mate 10 Pro which showcases the three-camera setup of the smartphone. Huawei will launch the new smartphones on October 16 at an event in Munich.
The smartphone is expected to come with a 12 and 20 megapixel rear dual camera set up. On the front, the Mate 10 Pro will have an 8MP camera. The Mate 10 Pro will feature a 4000mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of storage, and the company’s new AI-focused Kirin 970 processor. The device features an ‘EntireView’ display which will come with a 6-inch panel and have an 18:9 aspect ratio with 2160×1080 pixel resolution.
Huawei is believed to introduce three Mate 10 variants – Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite. The Pro variant will come in three colours – dark blue, black and brown and will feature a wide, lighter band across the top of the phone.
Huawei has also been taking digs at Apple about its AI technology. In a teaser video released on Friday, Huawei claims that their new device is an “intelligent machine.
Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu, in an interview to Bloomberg earlier this year, said that the Mate 10 will give tough competition to Apple’s new iPhone models. Yu said that the Mate 10’s improved charging speed, cameras and other features will make it a worthy contender to compete with the upcoming iPhone. “We will have an even more powerful product. The Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker changing speed, better-photographing capability and many other features that will help us compete with Apple,” he was quoted as saying.
