Huawei launches 3 new models in India

huawei_logoThe inflow of smartphones to the Indian market continues with Chinese manufacturer Huawei taking the center stage this time. The company introduced three new devices in the mid ranged smartphones category. These include the Huawei Ascend G700, Ascend P6 and the Ascend G610.

Moving on to the specifications of the devices, we shall do all the three together. In the display department, the Ascend G700 has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) HD IPS display, while the P6 is slightly smaller at 11.9-cm (4.7-inch). The Ascend G610 on the other hand has a 11.4-cm (4.5-inch) IPS display along with a screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

Further, the Huawei Ascend G700 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, while the Ascend P6 is powered by the 1.5 GHz quad core Huawei K3V2 processor. Lastly, the G610 has a 1.2 GHz quad core processor as well. In terms of the RAM, the first two devices have 2 GB of RAM, while the G610 has 1 GB of RAM. All of them run on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

On the camera front, the G700 has an 8 mega pixel rear camera along with a 1.3 mega pixel front camera. The P6 on the other hand has an 8 mega pixel rear camera along with a 5 mega pixel front shooter. Both these devices are capable of 1080 pixel recordings. The Ascend G610 has a 5 mega pixel rear camera along with a 0.3 mega pixel front snapper.

Ascend G700 comes with an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 1.3MP front-facing shooter. Ascend P6 features 8MP camera with BSI sensor, F2.0 aperture, 4cm macro lens and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with auto facial-enhancing capabilities. The device also comes with a 1080P full HD video recording and playback capability.

Ascend G610 features 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 0.3 (MP) VGA front-facing camera. Thus one can say that the Ascend P6 is better for taking pictures and video.
