HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition Available With 13 MP Front Camera

HTC which had introduced One M9+ earlier this year, has now unveiled its upgraded version at an event held in Htc_One_M9_plus_AuroraJapan. Dubbed as One M9+ Aurora Edition, the phone will be available in Taiwan and other countries from October 15 at Rs 41,600. However, the company has still not revealed pricing and availability details of the new smartphone in India.

HTC One M9+ Aurora sports a 13.97cm (5.2-inch) Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core (quad core 2.0GHz + quad core 1.5GHz) 64-bit processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM, the phone comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 2TB via microSD. Backed by a 2700mAh battery, the device supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. It sports a massive 20MP Duo Camera setup with dual LED, dual tone flash and a robust 13MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies. With the connectivity of 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GPRS/ EDGE and NFC, the handset is expected to be available with water and dust resistance.
