HTC, as expected, has launched its latest Desire-series smartphone – the Desire 826 – in India at Rs. 25,990.
The new HTC Desire 826 packs a 14-cm (5.5-inch) (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It adopts the Desire 820′s design and even has dual front-facing stereo HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It comes with dual SIM support and has 4G connectivity.
The phone gets 13-megapixel camera on the rear surface with LED flash and a 4-megapixel camera on the front surface. The body of the device carries non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery for long lasting usage. On the connectivity front, the device is blessed with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and hotspot.
HTC Desire 826 smartphone is a mid-range phablet in the Indian market available at Rs 25,990.
