HP Pavilion Wave, HP Elite Slice desktops With sixth-gen Intel I7 Launched

HP has expanded its desktops PC range in the country with the addition of Pavilion Wave and Elite Slice. The all-new desktop PCs 54293033run the Windows 10 operating system and have twin microphones.
Touted to be productivity-cum-entertainment device, HP Pavilion Wave sports a triangular design and a parabolic reflector with an integrated speaker on top for a 360-degree audio output.

The PC can support up to two 4K resolution displays, has three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Powering the HP Pavilion Wave is a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with support for up to 16GB DDR4 RAM. It comes with a 128GB SSD5 storage along with a 2TB HDD. Users can also add an AMD Radeon R9 M470 GPU.

The other addition HP Elite Slice is the company’s first modular commercial desktop with cable-less connectivity. The PC runs on Intel Core i7 processor, weighs 1 KG (approximately) and sports a 360-degree dual fan pipe ring.

The company also claims that the Elite Slice is its first desktop to be powered by a display using the solitary USB 3.1 Type-C cable. It supports the new Quad HD HP EliteDisplay S240uj monitor. The display comes integrated with wireless charging and a USB Type-C port.

HP also showcased these PCs at IFA 2016 in Berlin earlier this year.
HP Pavilion Wave will be available at a starting price of Rs 61,990 from October 2. Buyers will also have the choice to buy HP Monitor separately. HP Elite Slice will be available at a starting price of Rs 62,990. The PC will hit retail stores on October 1.
