HP India announced new Strategies for Channel Partners & Launches HP Connected Music

HP India announced new strategies for its channel partners along with the launch of HP Connected Music a ground breaking, seamless service that will give Indian consumers immense choice and access to global and regional digital music and content.

HP is committed to offering – simplicity, profitability and engagement to equip and assist its channel partners with a strategic focus on sustained profitable growth, building a scalable channel structure and providing best-in-class retail experience. HP has also devised new channels to set up HP online stores and increase focus on online portals along with developing key consumer electronic stores.

Speaking at the occasion, Rajkumar Rishi, Director, Consumer Channel, PPS, HP India said: β€œThe optimized PPS structure makes HP a stronger partner and easier to do business with. Having joined forces with entertainment giants Universal Music India and Hungama, HP India offers a unique subscription based music service, which provides unlimited downloadable music free of charge for one year. This brand new service is available on selected HP Windows 8 notebooks.

Speaking about the service, Ranjivjit Singh, Head, Marketing, HP PPS India said, β€œOur consumers have told us they want a seamless music experience, while using their device and this is exactly what HP Connected Music provides. Through its subscription service, it allows people the chance to explore a whole new world of music and exclusive content, while using their notebook.”

Customers with selected new HP consumer notebooks featuring Windows 8 can now enjoy music on the move with HP Connected music providing the apt opportunity to most of the users who desire mobility in devices. Along with listening to their favorite tunes, HP customers will also have the access to search exclusive artist content such as behind the scenes footage, access to ViP showcases, intimate artist performances, meet and greets and studio visits.
