According to a report by Economic Times, HP has sealed another major contract in India. HP has sealed contract with Corporation bank worth Rs. 400 crore.
It also to be noted here that Indian biggies like TCS, Wipro were also in run for the outsourcing contract.
Under the contract terms, HP will design and implement necessary enterprise software besides setting up and maintaining the bank’s data centre.
The contract is for switching and managing the bank’s core-banking software from the current version made by Chennai-based software company Polaris Financial Technology to Finacle, made by Bangalore-based Infosys.
