Honor has officially announced that it will unveil the Magic V2 foldable smartphone on September 1 during its IFA Berlin keynote address

Honor is set to introduce its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic V2, which boasts an exceptionally slim and lightweight design. While the device was initially launched in China last month, its global debut is anticipated for the upcoming month. Honor has officially confirmed its participation in the IFA Berlin conference scheduled for September 1, raising expectations for the unveiling of not just one, but possibly two foldable smartphones.

The IFA event by Honor is scheduled for September 1 at 10 AM CEST, although the exact devices to be showcased have not been explicitly stated. The tagline for the event, “Unfold Tomorrow,” suggests the introduction of a foldable smartphone, possibly indicating the launch of the Magic V2. The teaser poster also includes the outline of another device, leading to speculation about the potential unveiling of two foldables, although this remains uncertain. In a recent media roundtable, Honor did acknowledge the existence of a flip phone, further adding to the intrigue.

For foldable enthusiasts, the global launch of the Honor Magic V2 is anticipated with excitement. Notably, the smartphone is remarkable for its compact form factor, measuring just 9.9mm when closed and an impressively slim 4.7mm when unfolded. The Magic V2 weighs a mere 237g, making it one of the lightest foldables available, even surpassing some non-foldable bar phones.

The device boasts impressive specifications, including the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a high-refresh-rate 120Hz AMOLED display on both its outer and inner panels. With a substantial 5,000mAh battery and 66W fast charging support, the Magic V2 combines innovative design with powerful performance.
