Honor 7X Red Limited edition launched in India at Rs 12,999

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched the Limited Edition Red variant of its budget smartphone Honor 7X in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 12,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon. The company has not yet revealed the availability details of the website, but customers can register for it from Amazon.
Successor to the Honor 6X, the company launched the Honor 7X in December last year in India. The USP of the smartphone is its improved design and the dual rear camera setup.
The Honor 7X come with a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 and 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution aspect ratio. Running Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the handset is powered by the company’s own octa-core Kirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU.
The smartphone offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The users can add more storage by installing a microSD card. The device comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3400mAh battery.
The Honor 7X boasts of a dual rear camera with one 16MP and other 2MP modules with LED flash. There’s also an 8MP front shooter for selfies. The device measures 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6mm and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Recently, Honor announced that they will start manufacturing the Honor 7X in India at Flex’s manufacturing facility near Chennai.
“Honor, Huawei’s e-brand…has started manufacturing of Honor 7X in partnership with Flex, at Flex’s plant in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai,” Huawei said in a statement.
The company started manufacturing in country in partnership with Flex India in September 2016. The company started with the manufacturing of Holly 3 under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. After that it started making Honor 6X and now its Honor 7X.
