In addition, HID Global will demonstrate its recently launched HID Mobile Access® solution that supports Bluetooth Smart and NFC to open doors with smartphones and other smart devices. Powered by award-winning Seos technology, HID Mobile Access also enables users to open doors and gates from a distance via Bluetooth Smart and the company’s patented “Twist and Go” gesture technology.

“ASIS brings together the Middle East’s senior end-user representatives including CSOs, security directors, security managers, and security consultants and it will be the perfect opportunity for us to network and to highlight our mobile access solution with a special presentation during the event.” said Nat Pisupati, Regional Sales Director Identity & Access Management, Middle East & Africa with HID Global. “The presentation will include how the HID Mobile Access solution includes everything necessary for organizations to begin using Bluetooth Smart and NFC-enabled smartphones and other mobile devices as an alternative to keys and smart cards in today’s increasingly popular BYOD mobility environment.” Pisupati added.

In a region where mobile usage is high, adding smartphones and other mobile devices to an interoperable system of access control cards and devices will yield increasingly valuable benefits over time, including greater user convenience and efficiency, additional layers of authentication, and new ways to open doors.
