Here’s how Airtel’s Rs 999 plan compares to Reliance Jio’s 999 and other plans

The fight to be the top telecom network provider is getting intense. Every other day, new plans are being launched in order to woo customers. Leading telecom giant Airtel today launched a new plan for its prepaid users. The service provider has introduced a plan of Rs 999 under which it will be offering 4GB 3G/4G data along with unlimited calling for the period of 28 days.
Incidentally, as part of its new plans, which were launched in July, Reliance Jio also has a plan for Rs 999. But these are not the only two plans that can be compared on the basis of price. Here is what both these telecom operators are offering at Rs 149, Rs 349 and Rs 999.
Rs 149: What you will get
Airtel:
Airtel is offering 300MB 3G/4G data for 4G Handset (50 MB for other handsets) with no FUP limit. In this offer, the company is also offering free unlimited calling to Airtel numbers. This offer is valid for 28 days
Reliance Jio:
In this price, Reliance Jio is offering 2GB data with no FUP limit valid for 28 days. This offer also includes free unlimited calling.
Rs 349: What you will get
Airtel:
Airtel is offering 28GB data with an FUP limit of 1GB data per day with free unlimited calling. This offer is valid for 28 days.
Reliance Jio:
The Rs 349 plans offers users 10GB + 10GB 4G data for 56 days (28 + 28). Post the exhaustion of 20GB in 56 days, the internet speed is reduced to 128kbps. There is, however, no cap on daily data usage in this plan.
Rs 999: What you will get
Airtel:
The company is offering 112GB data valid for 28 days, meaning 4GB data per day. This offer also includes free unlimited calling.
Reliance Jio:
The Reliance Jio 999 plan offers 90GB data for 90 days with no FUP limit. This offer is valid for 90 days.
