As many of you are already aware, OnePlus recently announced OxygenOS 13, a new operating system based on Android 13, which has a number of new features, an improved user interface, and bug improvements. We strongly advise downloading and updating to the most recent version if you haven’t already.
At this time, OnePlus would also want to remind our users that we are constantly working to enhance the user experience and provide more features and capabilities. So make sure to keep an eye out for developments in the future.
As you are aware, OnePlus officially announced a few weeks ago that devices released after 2022 and starting in January 2023 will receive four years of major OS updates and five years of security patch updates.
Along with other devices like the OnePlus TV, OnePlus tablet, and more, the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R have already been sold in India. In addition, China recently gave the OnePlus 11 the January 2023 update. It is clear that both recently released devices qualify for the new update scheme beginning in 2023.
The new update strategy for its OnePlus devices has been verified by OnePlus. Three significant Android OS updates and four years of security updates will now be provided to the OnePlus 10 series, OnePlus 9 series, and OnePlus 8 Series.
