Grace Hopper India Conference 2016 (GHCI) Announces Call For Submissions

Be a Speaker at India’s Largest Technical Conference for Women, the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing India 2016

Call for Submissions is Now Open

The Anita Borg Institute (ABI), a non-profit organization focused on the advancement of women in computing and technology, today announced the Call for Submissions for its flagship conference in India, the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing India (GHCI) 2016. The conference will take place from 7-9, December, 2016 in Bangalore. GHCI 2016 is produced by the Anita Borg Institute and presented in partnership with ACM India.

ABI India invites submissions from women in technology professionals (entry to senior management) from the industry, government and academia; women entrepreneurs and students. Submissions from men in technology, corporate recruiters, consultants and others who have the expertise to present at GHCI are also welcome. GHCI 2016 offers a variety of technical and non-technical Tracks.

Technical –This will include sessions on exciting new technologies. The technical Tracks are Data Science and Machine Learning, Emerging Technologies, Human Computer Interaction, (HCI), Open Source, Systems Engineering and Tech Products A to Z. GHCI also has the Poster Session for women students and industry professionals from technical backgrounds.

Professional – These Tracks will have career development sessions for women technologist and include Back to Work, Campus to Corporate, Career Mastery for Success, Entrepreneurship, Management Excellence and Organizational Transformation.

GHCI is the largest technical conference for women in India and provides a great opportunity to gain professional visibility, network and inspire women in technology.
