Google Introduces Android M At Google I/O 2015

googledTech-buffs are all geared up for the next version of Android which is to be launched soon. Known as Android M, the updated version of Android will be introduced at the upcoming Google I/O event which is scheduled to take place on May 28 and 29.

Although the specifications have been kept under the wraps, the schedule revealed that the OS will come-up with an updated Android for Work tool to encourage the use of Android devices at workplaces, small business, logistics and warehousing jobs.

Apart from Android M, Google I/O conference would also revolve around Android Wear, hands-free apps, Google Cast and Android Auto session. Last but not the least, a Video-Chat for Web, iOS and Android session is there, which will apparently focus on building cross-platform apps for voice and video chat.

Last year, Google had offered a preview of Android 5.0 Lollipop at Google I/O event. Initially, Android L was released in the conference, which later came to be known as Android Lollipop.
