Google celebrates Audrey Hepburn’s 85th birthday with a pink doodle

Internet search giant Google, on Sunday is honouring legendary British actress Audrey Hepburn with a pink doodle on her 85th birth anniversary.

The Breakfast at Tiffany’s actress was born in Brussels, she spent her childhood between Belgium, England and the Netherlands, including German-occupied Arnhem during the Second World War.

In Amsterdam, she studied ballet with Sonia Gaskell before moving to London in 1948 to continue her ballet training with Marie Rambert and perform as a chorus girl in West End musical theatre productions.

Her notable work in the movie “Roman Holiday” gave her the Best Actress trophy of the 1953 Academy Awards.
