Global Process Mining and Execution Management Leader Celonis celebrate the third edition of ‘Impact Day’ in partnership with The Ugly Indian to beautify the War Memorial on Brigade Road, Bengaluru

Celonis, a global leader in process mining and execution management celebrated its third edition of ‘Global Impact Day’ in India on August 12, 2022, in collaboration with The Ugly Indian. As a part of the Impact Day initiatives in India, Celonis beautified the War Memorial on Brigade Road in Bengaluru and painted a government school in Surat.

Celonis and BBMP, the Municipal body for the city, managed the event while The Ugly Indian, an anonymous group of volunteers who clean Indian streets, helped in the execution. The Impact Day celebration saw active participation from 45 Celonis employees from India and 2800 employees from across the world.

With the wall-painting initiatives, the company envisioned helping sustainability initiatives and bringing about a change in society. Overall, the company undertook 36 initiatives across the globe. Contributing to getting back the ecological balance, food donations for families in need in Brazil, Code2College for low-income group students, and donating your old glasses in Germany were some of the many initiatives.

While speaking about the social and environmental impact vision, Anitha Scaria George, Vice President of Celonis India said, “We remembered the Bravehearts who fought in the first world war and for the country’s independence while painting the wall adjacent to the War Memorial. Celonis is always looking for ways to create a tangible impact on communities while remaining committed to sustainable and inclusive growth”.

Celonis celebrates three Impact Days every year in an attempt to give back to society. The last Impact Day was celebrated in March 2022 when Celonauts or the company employees conducted a plogging drive at Bengaluru’s Agara Lake.

Globally, Celonis conducts regular Impact Days across 12 countries and 20 cities, motivating Celonauts to participate in and drive projects that create a powerful impact in their local communities.
