Gionee F6 and F205 with full-screen displays teased ahead of official launch

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee earlier announced that it will launch eight smartphones with full screen display at an event scheduled for November 26. All the eight smartphones will be the part of company’s winter lineup.
Gionee’s VP Yu Lei has now posted a teaser from the upcoming launch. The teaser reveals that the company will be launching F6 and F205 smartphones with full screen displays. The Gionee F6 is the successor of the last year launched F5 and presently the company has not revealed any details about the specifications of the smartphone. However, the Gionee F205 made a recent appearance on benchmarking website Geekbench.
As per the Geekbench listing, the Gionee F205 will sport a 5-inch HD+ display with 720×1440 pixel resolution. The device will be powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor with PowerVR Rogue GPU. The smartphone will come with dual SIM functionality and will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system topped with Amigo UI layer of the company.
The smartphone will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The Gionee F205 will feature an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera for selfies. In terms connectivity, the device will offer 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Gionee recently launched its M7 Power smartphone in India at Rs 16,999. The smartphone is up for pre-order on Amazon. The Gionee M7 Power packs a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support and a 6-inch full view display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440×720 pixels resolution.
The smartphone boasts of a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. The smartphone flaunts a metal unibody design and comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The device offers all the essential connectivity options.
