Gionee has expanded its ‘S-Series’ with the launch of S6 Pro. 
Claimed to be a VR-enabled smartphone, Gionee S6 Pro comes pre-loaded with the company’s VR app and, as the company says, provides smooth VR viewing experience.
Priced at Rs 23,999, the smartphone will be available at all retail and online stores starting October 1. As an introductory offer the manufacturer is also offering three months of free ‘Saavn Pro’ subscription with the device. The bundled VR headset is prices at Rs 2,499. Gionee is also said to be providing screen guard and transparent back case free within inside the box.
Gionee S6 Pro will be avialable in two colour options, Gold and Rose Gold. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The new Gionee smartphone packs 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card.
As for the cameras, Gionee S6 Pro sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter. The handset comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and 4G VoLTE support. The connectivity options offered by the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It has a battery capacity of 3,130 mAh.
Recently, Gionee launched the S6s selfie smartphone in India at Rs 17,999. The high point of the smartphone is its 8MP front camera which promises to offer perfect selfies. The company also announced Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as its brand ambassador at the launch of the smartphone.
The Gionee S6s has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920×1820 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor.
