GIGABYTE India’s pan-India In-House Toll-Free Helpline Number is 1800-22-0966.
The company has withdrawn its previous helpline number which was outsourced to its national service partner, Accel Frontline.
Already launched, the In-House Toll-Free number is operational from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with the exception of national and public holidays. It is open to any kind of pre-sales and post-sales queries regarding GIGABYTE motherboards, including service and technical support. It also caters to enquiries related to product information and availability.
The number is manned by a team, trained and specializing in offering telephonic support on technical as well as basic queries, and providing feedback to the company to facilitate further service improvement. Monitoring and enhancing the new toll-free number service quality will be an ongoing process for the company.
Being a key player in the Indian PC component industry, GIGABYTE Technology believes that direct telephonic support for partners and customers is a vital function that any company should embark on, in its bid to offer complete solutions.
Commenting on the newly launched in-house toll-free number, Sunil Grewal, Sales Director – India, GIGABYTE Technology said, “We are excited to launch this initiative in time when an increasing number of end-users, and even channel partners prefer direct interaction with vendor companies before deciding on their course of action, or taking a final decision. By moving our toll-free number in-house, we get an ideal opportunity to interact directly with them, know their pulse better, which in turn will help us take our service quality to the next level.”
The in-house toll-free number comes on the heels of two recent initiatives taken by GIGABYTE India for enhancing post-sales service set-up.
Firstly, the company revamped its warranty terms with a focus on ensuring that every GIGABYTE motherboard end-customer gets faster and more efficient support. The company offers a maximum 3-day Turnaround Time (TAT) in metro cities, and a 7-day TAT in non-metro cities as part its 3-year service warranty.
Secondly, the company has opened GIGABYTE Exclusive Service Centers at key market locations across the country. The centers, averaging approximately 1,000-squarefoot space, are located either within or near the main IT hardware markets of the respective cities. The centers’ proximity to the IT market hubs in the allotted regions, go a long way in helping resellers provide quicker and improved services to their customers. These centers act as service hubs for the country’s different regional zones.
