Fujitsu Recognized For Completeness Of Vision And Ability To Execute In European Cloud Enabled Managed Hosting Market

Fujitsu is recognized for its completeness of vision and ability to execute in the European Cloud Enabled Fujitsu LogoManaged Hosting Market. Research firm Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Cloud Enabled Managed Hosting, Europe, 2015, published on June 30, has positioned Fujitsu further along the completeness of vision and ability to execute axes, in comparison to last year’s report.

“Fujitsu continues to invest in its cloud platforms, data center capacity and cloud managed services. We believe that the results of this investment have contributed to Fujitsu’s current ‘leaders’ position in this Gartner Magic Quadrant,” says Kenny Tucker, Head of Fujitsu Cloud Platforms, Global Delivery in Fujitsu’s Global Delivery business.

“In Europe, our growing base of mid-size customers underlines their confidence that Fujitsu enables them to address the challenges of managing Hybrid IT. Our approach involves getting the balance right between supporting powerful innovation through enabling the adoption of cloud services while taking a robust and sustainable approach to managing the associated risks, costs and benefits,” continues Tucker.

Fujitsu has a significant footprint in the European Cloud-enabled managed hosting market, with data centers in the UK, Ireland, Western and Central Europe and the Nordics. In 2014, the company enjoyed growth ahead of the market, posting a six percent increase in year-on-year revenues.

Around the world, Fujitsu distinguishes itself in a largely commoditized market through its unique cloud integration platform, providing a seamless path to cloud technologies. Fujitsu is also expanding its offering with the launch of a new OpenStack-based platform in addition to established Microsoft- and VMware-based platforms.
