Foxconn Ties-up with China-based Games Developer to Develop Tablets in Education Sector

Foxconn, world’s leading manufacturer of computer components and systems, has announced their joint venture with China-based games developer Netdragon Websoft and investment firm Vision Knight Capital (China) Fund through its subsidiary Foxteq Holding. Foxconn will invest a total of US$33 million.

The new joint venture will focus on developing education tablets. The products will initially target China and gradually expand to other countries in Asia.

Foxteq will have a 45% stake in the joint venture, Netdragon 49% and Vision Knight 6%.
