First generation Samsung Galaxy Note now available for Rs. 21,500

artImg198x166_14978The first generation Samsung Galaxy Note can now be purchased for Rs. 21,500, which is Rs. 6,550 cheaper than its MRP.

The first generations Samsung Galaxy Note, the device that started the phablet genre can now be purchased online for Rs. 21,500. The phablet has an MRP on the official Samsung website of Rs. 28,050. The smartphone is however available for Rs. 6550 less on an online retail website.

Flipkart is selling the smartphone for the cheapest rate – Rs. 21,500. As of writing this article, other online retail websites such as Saholic and Infibeam have not reduced the price of the Galaxy Note. It is available for Rs. 27,500 on both the online shopping portals.

The Samsung Galaxy Note has a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution. The phablet weighs 178 grams and is 9.65mm in thickness. The Galaxy Note also brought with it the S-Pen not only reviving the use of a stylus on a smartphone but bringing some cool added functionality as well.

The rear of the smartphone houses an 8MP camera where as the front has a 2MP camera for video calling. The phablet has a 1.4GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It also has 16GB built-in storage expandable via a microSD card. A 2500mAh battery powers the package. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
