Futuristic trends, potential challenges, and guidelines to implement IoT will also be discussed.

“The key to growth of any technology is by its ability to create wealth. While the Internet of Things has immense possibilities, a lot of which is being talked about by various people including us; in this conference we will focus on biggest puzzle of all, how to monetise the IoT. We are inviting business leaders and users who have successfully created revenues in IoT to tell us about their journey to enable us to learn from them. We are happy to associate with EFY Group to deliver this event to get speakers from all parts of the IoT ecosystem including Chipset and hardware, System integrators, Operators and Cloud & Analytics. This is also the first time that an IoT event with this focus is happening in India,” said Shekhar Sanyal, Country Head and Director, IET India

“India already enjoys excellent software and hardware design resources through the umpteen design houses and R&D centres we house here. What we need is to solve the puzzle on how to convert our technology expertise into a successful business platform. We are now beginning to work towards this by teaming up with the The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), as it is in their mission to support technology innovation to meet the needs of society,” explains Ramesh Chopra, executive chairman at EFY Group.

The conference will be co-located with IoTShow.in, which is India’s largest exhibition and conference on the Internet of Things. Both shows are being conducted under the umbrella event Indian Electronics Week 2016, which is a week-long international event to be held at Bengaluru, to promote electronics industry in India. The event will also mark the launch of a unique website that focuses on the electronics angle of IoT, aptly called Electronics of Things (www.electronicsofthings.com)
