FiiO announces the official launch of its professionally-tuned Single Driver In-Ear Monitor — JD3. Built with a premium aluminium and stainless steel unibody and designed for the best audio performance using professionally-tuned drivers, the JD3 is an excellent choice for audiophiles seeking a pair of true IEMs.
Keeping the build quality a priority FiiO has crafted the JD3 using a solid stainless steel as a material of choice. Steel allows the painstaking craftmanship of the clever unibody design to truly shine and positively radiate with energy. The craftsmanship goes a step further by using a semi-open acoustic design for a balanced relief system that allows for the most pleasant listening experiences. The air pressure inside each bud immensely reduces distortion and produces clean bass by allowing the drivers to move as necessary. The design creates extra comfort by eliminating the pressure on your eardrums, making it more comfortable for prolonged use. The earbuds are also designed keeping usability in mind. The earbuds are equipped with Blue and Red grilles for easy identification for each audio channel — Left and Right ear, respectively. Lastly, the design ensures the premium standard throughout the product by using strong and high-grade braided cables and aluminium alloys for the 3.5mm audio jack and in-line controls.
Fiio’s audio engineers have painstakingly worked together to ensure the JD3 can perform to the best of an audiophile’s requirements. The IEMs use a pair of carefully chosen 9.2mm diaphragm drivers which deliver exceptional sound, allowing for deep bass, lush mids and vibrant treble. The voice coils are made using CCAW — a lightweight material that’s easy to drive and capable of producing a high sensitivity of 107 dB/mW. The buds are also designed with dual cavities alongside a sound-absorbing setup and some powerful neodymium magnets that offer excellent bass transient performance. Together, these IEMs are professionally tuned for an audio performance that sounds more natural,and is detailed for higher resolution.
