Facebook Upgrades Android App And Facebook Home

Facebook-logo-1817834Facebook has upgraded its Android application and now includes several innovative features such as the ability to send feed or news stories in form of private messages. Facebook now allows users to share feed with any user privately.

Other than this, the users can now also access chat and bookmarks from Facebook application. On swiping left, the chats will be displayed while on swiping right, the application will give you access to bookmarks.

The new app can be moved to the SD card on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread and lower version based devices. But that would be possible only when the system supports application install on SD card.

Users currently using Facebook Home can systematize applications and arrange them in folders. This can be done by dragging and dropping an application icon on another one to create a folder. You can download the updated application from the Google Play store.
