Mohar V- My journey with TECHVED began with a simple yet powerful vision: to be able to empower businesses with new emerging Technology support. TECHVED has always been committed to utilising technology to help people and businesses grow. I have had this purpose from the beginning, and I see it continuing today with my role as a business evangelist for TECHVED. As we’ve continued to expand, I have become more engaged in the larger vision of creating a better tomorrow for everyone by helping businesses and their operations adapt through digital means.

IT Voice- What does “Business Evangelist” mean in the context of TECHVED Consulting?
Mohar V- Being a Business Evangelist at TECHVED Consulting means that my job has many facets and is dynamic; therefore, I need to continually look around for emerging technologies and markets that can disrupt the market and will create new opportunities. I connect the dots between innovation and the real-life effectiveness that can help clients envision a future that will be smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.
It’s about storytelling, too – sharing the narrative of the relationship between technology and human insight when paired together. I collaborate closely with the team to incorporate that vision into every project, so our solutions will be more meaningful. My goal is to inspire and enable our clients and partners to embrace a digital transformation through TECHVED’s expertise to become more competitive, innovative, and successful.
Ultimately, being a Business Evangelist means being a catalyst for change by building a culture of innovation and collaboration for good. This is an exciting space; I get to invent the future, one idea at a time!
IT Voice- Over the past decade at TECHVED, what are the key inflexion points that have shaped your strategic priorities?
Mohar V- Over the past two decades at TECHVED, we’ve had the privilege of witnessing and shaping the digital landscape. Many defining moments have significantly impacted our strategic approach.
The first pivotal moment was the increased recognition within the industry for UX as a business driver. We realized early on that User Experience is not just an enhancement, but rather an integral part of any company’s overall Business Success. This led us to think harder and prioritise heavily on design thinking and user-centric design, which has set us apart from our competitors.
The second pivotal moment was that of the dramatic move to Digital Transformation by Corporations across all Enterprise Functions. As companies now understand how important Digital Transformation is and want assistance with this complex process, they have chosen TECHVED for its excellence and expertise.
Finally, the rapid adoption of AI has been nothing short of phenomenal, as it is changing the World of Business in all areas, from Customer Service to Product Development. We’ve been continually building capabilities in both AI & Machine Learning to ensure that our clients can harness the Data within their respective Business Models to drive Innovation and Growth.
IT Voice- TECHVED is known for embracing digital transformation. Which technologies have you evangelised most strongly, and why?
Mohar V- Along with digital transformation, TECHVED has embraced AI in all its forms. Be it conversational interfaces, communication intelligence or deep experience design, these technologies consistently prove their value. They simplify complexity, enhance customer journeys and push companies in the direction of staying ahead in the crowd of digital demands.
IT Voice- How do you convince traditional businesses (especially in India) to adopt newer, disruptive technologies?
Mohar V- I believe that a grounded conversation that highlights their ambitions and challenges is where the magic begins. Once leaders see how technology can directly impact efficiency, customer trust and growth- the pillars of a business, the hesitation fades. Pair that with real examples and quick wins, then encourage them to move forward with confidence and trust.
IT Voice- Could you describe a particularly successful transformation engagement that TECHVED led — and your role in it?
Mohar V- One of the most successful transformation projects TECHVED has undertaken involved working with a prominent global financial services institution to modernise its full suite of products and services. We transformed key customer journeys, from onboarding and account management to support interactions, by integrating advanced AI-driven customer touch points to create a more personalised/predictive and efficient customer experience. We also simplified the customer experience across platforms to create a seamless and consistent experience across the entire digital environment.
In my role, I led the development of a strategic blueprint, working closely with their leadership to translate their vision and business goals into actionable solutions. I ensured that every initiative, including journey redesign and AI integration, was fully aligned with their objectives.
IT Voice- In India’s consulting ecosystem, how is TECHVED positioned — and how have you shaped the go-to-market (GTM) strategy?
Mohar V- As a digital consulting firm, TECHVED is uniquely positioned at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Design. I’ve helped steer our go-to-market strategies from merely providing services towards providing solutions to real-world business problems. This transition has elevated not only the quality of our client engagements but has also transformed our client discussions to be more strategic and outcome-driven.

IT Voice- Partnerships are often critical in tech consulting. How do you build and maintain strategic partner ecosystems?
Mohar V- Partnerships are indeed the lifeblood of tech consulting, and we’ve been fortunate to build some amazing relationships over the years. We have managed to build some very strong strategic partnerships over the years. For us, establishing synergies allows for mutual benefit. We seek partnerships that share our values, vision and focus on innovation.
Whether it’s technology providers, financial institutions, academic institutions, or research organisations, we look for partners who bring unique strengths to the table. We are committed to the ongoing development of a collaborative ecosystem, whereby all partners within that ecosystem can co-create, innovate and provide solutions.
IT Voice- How do you prioritise which industries or geographies TECHVED should focus on for growth?
Mohar V- Based on data, we evaluate the levels of digital readiness and growth potential in our customers, and we also identify areas that we believe we could help the most using our expertise. The financial services (BFSI), healthcare and retail industry sectors are consistently leading all sectors that are digitally transforming, and we are delighted to work with some of the top companies in all of these sectors.
As for our geographic focus, we see the greatest opportunity for us in two regions: India and the Middle East. India is our home base, and the market presents a huge growth opportunity due to its young, tech-savvy population, and its Government is highly encouraging for digital adoption. The Middle East, particularly with its Vision 2030 initiatives, are an incubator of digital transformation, smart cities, and other innovations.
IT Voice- Evangelism involves influencing internally and externally. How do you mobilise TECHVED’s teams and clients around your vision?
Mohar V- Mobilising TECHVED’s teams and clients around our vision is surely a balancing act, and we establish this balance by keeping the “WHY” at the centre. People do connect deeply when they understand purpose. With my team, I encourage open conversations and shared ownership, whereas with clients, I bring insights, clarity and a clear roadmap that turns possibilities into achievable outcomes.
IT Voice- What are the leadership qualities that you think are most important for someone evangelising a business or technology vision today?
Mohar V- I have seen firsthand that without foresight into what will happen in the future, it will be impossible to make plans and prepare accordingly in our rapidly changing technology environment. But without empathy, foresight does not have much value. A true, effective visionary leader understands people, their needs, and their struggles, which creates an authentic connection to the overall goal of their vision and ensures it is effectively executed.
The other important aspect is having a clear vision; the capacity to distill complicated concepts into a focused and straightforward narrative that resonates with diverse stakeholders. This shouldn’t be overlooked as transformational processes are inherently challenging, and there will inevitably be setbacks, so a leader must be able to overcome obstacles, learn from failures, and keep advancing toward the vision.
Ultimately, leaders will play the role of storyteller, connect people to the vision, and serve as the driving force for transformation.
IT Voice- Looking ahead, what is your long-term vision for TECHVED Consulting — and what role will you play in making it a reality?
Mohar V- My long-term vision for TECHVED is to be the global thought leader in shaping digital experiences where artificial and human intelligence go hand in hand. My role will continue to guide our innovation agenda, strengthening our global footprint and ensuring we stay true to our core purpose, which is creating meaningful impact through technology.
