Hammond will report to Keith Deane, SVP and GM for Epicor in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “Epicor remains strongly focused on expanding operations and further enhancing efficiencies across all levels of its business,” said Deane. “By bringing onboard a highly capable and widely experienced industry veteran like Hammond, who has a proven track record in the region’s software industry, we aim to increase our market share while continuing to deliver innovative and inspiring business software solutions that match the specific needs of our clients. Moreover, we are confident that his personality and leadership style is perfectly suited to the culture of teamwork, excellence and passion that we nurture at Epicor.”

With more than two decades of experience in the regional software industry, Hammond has worked with leading enterprise software companies across the region. Prior to joining the Epicor senior management team, Hammond was head of the volume business for the entire Middle East and North Africa for SAP Middle East. Added to this, he has held key positions at Infor, Software AG and Symantec across various countries in EMEA and North America.

“Epicor is at the forefront of business software solutions around the world,” said Hammond. “The company’s success lies in its ability to cater to the specific needs of clients across different sectors and regions, a clear testament to its deep understanding of the role of technology in cultivating business growth. This is clearly reflected in its continuing growth and success in this region where Epicor has a deeply rooted and fast-expanding client base. I look forward to being part of a winning team and continue to help drive regional successes.”

Hammond continued, “The opportunity in the region’s mid-market manufacturing and distribution/trading sector is perfect for Epicor. This is a fast-growing sector that needs simple to use, intuitive business applications but doesn’t have the budgets or the time required to implement bloated tier-1 solutions. This is our sweet spot where we will drive our focus.”

A graduate in Business Administration from Texas State University, USA, Hammond has been living in the region for more than 10 years. He will be managing the direct sales force as well as the channel partners that Epicor works with across the region.
