Electronics And IT Sectors Are Going To Be The Main Focus Of The Andhra Pradesh Government

A huge boost is awaited for aspiring electronics, IT and technology professionals as Andhra Pradesh will be soon prepared to fulfill their dreams.

2ceY120910PM872014 Electronics and IT sectors are going to be  the main focus of the Andhra Pradesh  government in the near future. Job  conception is a main agenda on their list  and around five lakh people will be  covered in this employment drive, as told  by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on  Monday.

New policies for IT, electronics and novelty are going to be generated by the state as there is a adaptable requirement in the technology sector. Naidu was speaking on the issue at the convocation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT). A release from the state government quoted him as, “The new IT policy would emphasise on the need for mega infrastructure, quality human resources and good governance.” Naidu also focused on start-ups which are going to be a major part of new policies along with those companies which are using SMAC (social media, mobile, analytics and cloud and IOT) technologies.

Naidu is aiming to develop Andhra Pradesh as a knowledge hub which will be known globally for its focus on quality of citizens’ lifestyles. This enhancement can be done only through high-quality education and more technology. Premier IT institutes will be established in the state with government support which will majorly focus on semi-conductor industry, manufacturing of electronic goods and components. The CM also emphasised that to boost up technical education, internship should be made compulsory in the final year of under-graduate courses in software, electronics and computer science.

Students and aspiring technical experts should engage in out-of-the-box thinking and reading studybooks will not be of much help. He said, “If students focus on skill development, India can rise to global standards and stay on par with China and the USA.” Naidu aims to match the scale of China as a manufacturing hub as Indian resources have the potential to accomplish the same. Students should be innovative enough to create job for others too. As Internet is a household name in India now, the poorest section of our society should have access to the same.
