Eaton launches revolutionary 9145 UPS, best-in-class for BFSI, IT and SME and SMB segments

Eaton_logoPower management company Eaton announced the launch of an advanced design quality solution – Eaton® 9145 UPS, offering protection to critical applications, ideal for BFSI, IT, SME and SMB segments. This solution can manage stringent climatic conditions and challenging electrical utility predicament in India. It offers a technically superior solution to end-users who require energy-efficient, highly reliable, compact power solutions for their applications.

Eaton 9145 is a double-conversion online UPS, which affordably protects mission-critical applications from downtime, data loss and corruption. The 9145 comes with an inbuilt over-voltage cut-off device (OVCD) in all 1 – 3 kVA models, protecting UPS and other critical loads. It is optimized to operate in very wide input voltage range, reducing the number of transfers to battery power, thereby making it perfectly compatible with engine generator sets.

Eaton 9145 brings in several first-in-industry features such as:

  • Inbuilt over-voltage cut-off device (OVCD) in 1 – 3 kVA models
  • Output power factor of up-to 0.9 on 6 -– 20 kVA models
  • Provides 28 percent more power than competitive products
  • Efficiency of up to 98 percent in ECO mode and 94percent in online mode
  • ECO mode to reduce energy consumption

A revolutionary product in itself, 9145 allows smart thermal management to operate in high temperature environments up to 45°C. Unlike other UPS in this segment, 9145 brings its users a compact product that delivers perfect sine wave output with high frequency technology. Eaton has designed this high-performance product with an output factor of up to 0.9 on 6 – 20 kVA models, thus offering 28 percent more power than other competitive products in this segment.

With the launch of 9145 UPS, Eaton is offering world-class energy efficiency of up to 98 percent in ECO mode and 94 percent in online mode, as a result reducing consumption and heat dissipation.

Eaton 9145 UPS allows users to track capacity and monitor power usage via user-friendly graphic LCD. This empowers users to make informed decisions on capacity and power usage, through a detailed view of status indicators. The 9145 also comes with a two-year warranty on UPS and one year on internal battery, which is an added plus. This exceptional first-class UPS would be available all over India by mid September, via Eaton’s authorized distributor Redington.
