Danfoss India, the Indian subsidiary of Danfoss Global and the leader in Climate, Energy and Mobile Hydraulics sector, today organised its Annual Supplier Day as part of its initiative to recognise and foster supplier relations.
The event saw participation from existing and new suppliers who play an important role in boosting local manufacturing thereby helping Danfoss create ancillary job opportunities. During the day long program, suppliers had access to domain specific knowledge shared by industry experts wherein they were briefed on Business update & strategies, R&D and Procurement processes in terms of opportunities and challenges to better enable Danfoss to serve the local and global market requirements. Suppliers were engaged in a dialogue with senior leadership to build trust and common understanding to further mutual business growth.
Commenting on the significance of the meet, Mr. Ravichandran Purushothaman, President, Danfoss India said “At Danfoss, we truly value our suppliers’ contribution and consider them as trusted partners in our growth. In line with our Make in India initiative and endeavour to position India as a regional export hub, our existing supplier base will be expanded to meet the global requirements. Additionally, this collaboration with us will also help suppliers scale their own business as we cater to global markets.”
