Danfoss Energy Efficient Cooling Solutions Targets To Tap The Fast Growing Indian Dairy Industry

Targeting the fast growing dairy Industry Danfoss participated in Danfoss India_Logothe India International Dairy Expo (IIDE) 2015 organized by Indian Dairy Association (West zone )& KoelnmesseYA Tradefair Pvt. Ltd.

India, which is the world’s largest producer of milk, accounting for around 20% of world’s total milk production, is also the world’s largest consumer of dairy products. Due to increasing population (currently over 1.24 bn), health conscious society, increasing demand for pro-biotic drinks, milk being one of the important ingredients in Indian food, increase in the consumption of milk based products like ice-creams, cheese, sweets, etc. clearly indicate the burgeoning opportunities in the dairy industry.

The Danfoss Booth at Mumbai exhibition centre showcased its range of dairy solutions like VLT refrigeration drive, compressors and industrial refrigeration controls and valves along with electronic controls. The exhibition also included the Optyma Slim Pack Condensing Unit which is an energy efficient product suitable for bulk milk cooling. Danfoss Booth attracted all the stake holders of dairy industry including dairy farmers, suppliers to the dairy industry and dairy product manufacturers.

The company showcased its superior range of dairy solutions at the three day expo and also conducted a session on “Engineering a Greener and Energy efficient Tomorrow” with a special focus on bulk milk cooling application at the National Dairy Seminar where it showcased new technologies in milk processing.
