cyberom logoAhmedabad, April 22, 2014: Cyberoam, a leading global network security appliances provider, today reported its results and growth achievements for FY2013. Besides achieving sequential growth for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013, the company successfully achieved growth targets set for enterprise and large customers, with enterprise business contributing to over 20% of total business. The company’s concerted efforts to break in emerging growth markets coupled with an expanded portfolio of network security solutions and a series of partner and channel focused initiatives resulted in Cyberoam registering an impressive 50% growth over FY2012.

“We continued to execute on Cyberoam’s growth plan and successfully expanded presence among enterprise and large customers, making important gains with unique security offerings and differentiated approach on channel and customer empowerment. We also maintained our commitment towards tier 2-3 partners and entrenched presence in those markets too. Poised for further growth

Going further, increasingly higher number of organizations will shift to gigabit infrastructure and shall face the inevitable in adopting BYOD, cloud, virtualization and other forces of business and IT. On the other hand, enterprise customers aim for leaner IT real estate in data centers, distributed networks and branch offices, focused to consolidate IT and networking inventory to reduce cost and complexity.

Cyberoam finds this situation very opportunistic, for it holds all the right ingredients to capitalize emerging prospects through this evolving IT and security landscape. From enabling customers to migrate securely over faster networking infrastructure to giving them single point security solutions covering perimeter security, protection for critical infrastructure such as industrial control networks, SCADA and IP video surveillance, Centralized Visibility and Security management for branch and remote locations to advanced reporting capabilities for situational awareness and compliance, Cyberoam remains steadfast to understand customers and their business needs as they feel engulfed with the impact of internet, digital business models and consumerization of IT.

Partners as experts

Cyberoam attributes its continued success to its partners who have demonstrated capable understanding of changing priorities of customers and helped customers with the right Cyberoam products and solutions. As seen for a growing number of CXOs, the bailiwick of IT decision makers is expanding rapidly, bringing greater onus and role for network security. To this end, Cyberoam ensured committed support and a slew of measures to equip its partners with latest industry know-how, training and certifications.

“We want our partners to address multiple security needs of your customers while fulfilling other critical requirements for high performance, flexible connectivity and simplified security management”, explained Mr. Sharma while explaining a gamut of growth opportunities for Cyberoam partners. “We see this as a key factor in achieving sustained growth. Putting forth this objective, we are rolling out a series of programs and initiatives to help them build expertise in various areas including Managed Security monitoring, Next-Gen Firewall services, VPN management, Web & Email security, Content filtering services, Web Application Firewall, Identity & Access management, Security information and event management and more”.

To maximize partner success, Cyberoam is continuing with a wide range of measures including lucrative channel program, dedicated channel managers, rebates, incentives, training and certifications and committed support at every stage of sales cycle.

In addition to this, Cyberoam is accelerating collaboration with new partners with proven reach and expertise in government and enterprise. To this end, the company fostered its ties with several leading SI partners such as NICSI, NIC, RICOH and TTSL. Alliance with elite government bodies like NICSI and NIC has resulted in major wins from CERT-In, Air India, Narcotics Control Bureau etc. and facilitated stronger in-roads with other government establishments. On the other hand, ties with Ricoh and Tata Teleservices Limited has enabled the company to capture better reach among mid-sized and large enterprises, multi-locations deals and in many regions helped provide value-enhanced package with ISP offerings, thereby strengthening Cyberoam’s reach into SOHO and SMB customers.

The company is keen to strengthen penetration in enterprise segment and increase partner base in tier 2-3 cities and shall launch more competitive products and better earning opportunities for partners in coming months.
