Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 Now Available @ Rs 16,999

Creative announced the second edition of its Sound Blaster Roar portable Bluetooth speaker for Rs 16,999. The new variant retains the same 5 speaker drivers, electrical design, and battery life of the earlier Sound Blaster Roar model. It is just 20% smaller and 10% lighter. It is available in black colour.

With the Sound Blaster Roar 2, users can choose to place the speaker horizontally for room-filling and balanced audio or vertically for louder and more directed audio. The second generation flaunts machine-finished passive bass radiators.

It features an integrated microSD WMA and MP3 player that allows users to play audio directly from a microSD card. The player even allows users to skip music folders so that they can navigate to their songs faster without having to tediously cycle through all their individual tracks.

The Sound Blaster Roar 2 can be used to take calls when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. It features an Integrated voice recorder that utilizes the speaker’s built-in microphone for recording all kinds of audio − calls, external voices, or streamed music − directly to an external microSD card.

The speaker is able to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, and utilizes the aptX and AAC codecs along with NFC support. In Bedtime Mode, the Sound Blaster Roar 2 gradually reduces its volume before automatically shutting down.

Users can connect it to their PCs or Macs via USB and features a built-in 6000 mAh rechargeable battery can be used to charge smartphones and tablets.
