CORSAIR Partners DreamHack India’s First Event

CORSAIR, a world leader in enthusiast memory, high-performance gaming hardware and PC components, today announced that it is partnering with the world’s largest gaming event DreamHack.

DreamHack India will be held at Goregaon Exhibition Center, Mumbai, India from 21st to 23rd December 2018, and it will be a celebration of gaming and eSports where gamers and digital natives will come together to test and challenge their skills. The event will be packed with gamers vying for a gaming championship in pro eSports tournaments and LAN parties.

PC Gaming Market Size in India

In 2017, PC gaming valuation was $108.9 billion, with a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 7.8 percent. Of this YoY growth, 47 percent was contributed by the Asia Pacific region – with India ranking 17th globally, valued at $818 million and 11.14 percent CAGR. The Indian Gaming market is expected to improve with a projected increase of 65 percent in disposable income by 2021.
