Coolpad launches 32GB variant of Note 5 Lite smartphone in India at Rs 8,999

Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has launched the 32GB variant of the Note 5 Lite smartphone in India. The company has priced the device at Rs 8,999 while the 16GB version of the smartphone — priced at Rs 8,199 — is now available at Rs 7,499.
Talking about the specification, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The dual SIM device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users can further expand storage up to 64GB by adding a microSD card.
The device sports a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front shooter using selfies. The smartphone flaunts a metal unibody design and comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Measuring 145.3×72.3×8.7mm, the handset is backed by a 2500mAh battery which promises to deliver 200 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG.
Earlier this month, the company launched its Cool Play 6C smartphone in China. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and comes with a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, the device offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users can also add extra space to the device by inserting a microSD card of up to 128GB.
In terms of photography, the smartphone comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with one 8MP and other 5MP module accompanied with LED flash. There is also a 13MP front camera with PDAF and LED flash for selfies. The smartphone houses a 2500mAh battery and 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options
