Cognizant sets up a new delivery centre in Malaysia

IT behemoth Cognizant said that it has expanded its presence in Malaysia with the opening of a new delivery centre in Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur.
“The new centre will enhance Cognizant’s existing operations in Malaysia and accommodate more than 100 professionals…the new centre will enable global, regional and local clients to leverage the technical and business capabilities available in the region, while delivering deep local insights and time zone advantages to the company’s growing roster of customers in Asia,” the New-Jersey headquartered company said in a statement.
Nasdaq-listed Cognizant currently employs approximately 300 professionals in Malaysia and works in the field of IT infrastructure, consulting and business process services in the country.
