Rumours say that former co-founder of Jabong.com- Manu Kumar Jain has joined Xiaomi to run their operations in India. The company has planned to expand in India and Indonesia.

Let’s take a look at few of company’s top products :

MIUI

Xiaomi devices come with customised Android OS, called MIUI. Users have given multiple options and functions in MIUI. User can choose themes for almost everything in the OS.
One of the changes in MIUI is the lack of an app drawer, but the UI is highly customisable with individual themes for icons, fonts, animation, lockscreen etc.

MIUI doesn’t have app drawer, all apps are present on homescreen like iOS. Lei Jun, ceo and founder of Xiaomi said last year that company has no plan to introduce any product on new platform as of now.

Company has higher ambitions from Indian market. Xiaomi believes that they will sell 40 million smartphones this year, which is a lot more than double number of what company sold last year.

The company is popular for reasonable pricing. Low pricing will definitely help the company to grow sales in India. Company has planned to offer products at aggressive prices in India.
