Nehru Place-based Challenger Computers has opened a second Canon Image Square in the IT market.

The store inaugurated by Kazutada Kobayashi, President & CEO, Canon India will display the complete range of Canon products for the Nehru Place customers.

A veteran retailer and distributor of Delhi, Challenger has had a long and strong partnership with Canon brand for the last 14 years. The new store is the fourth addition to the already existing three Canon Image stores in Delhi.

“The acceptance of Canon brand has grown in many folds be it printers or cameras. We feel the new store will further push the SLRs cameras business, with the Canon combo offers of two lenses along with SLRs cameras has been a driving force of the sale of SLRs cameras,” said Manoj Gupta, director, Challenger Computers to Channeltimes.

“We have been growing our partnership with Canon, the new store will allow us to expand our walk-ins and offer advanced retail experience,” he said.

Gupta says, “in each store, we sell 100 to 600 numbers of printers and 150 numbers of SLRs cameras.”

Besides Canon store, Challenger has other retail stores including LG IT store and Airtel showrooms. Recently, the retailer shut down the Sony Vaio laptop store and will be converting into new retail store. It is also into distribution business for past few years.
