Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455 Launched at Rs. 7,999

Celkon on Wednesday launched the Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455 budget smartphone at Rs. 7,999 for the Indian market.

The Millennium Vogue Q455 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) standby support.

It features a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS OGS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Millennium Vogue Q455 sports a 8-megapixel rear camera with flash support and there is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

The Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455 supports an additional 64GB storage expansion via microSD card, with 16GB of inbuilt storage on the device. Various connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (including hotspot functionality), Micro-USB and 3G.

The Millennium Vogue Q455 packs a 2000mAh Li-Ion battery that’s rated to offer up to 150 hours of standby time, and 8 hours of talk time. The smartphone measures 136.5x68x7.9mm and weighs 130 grams (with battery). The handset also houses proximity, light and G-sensor.

Last week, Celkon introduced its Millennium Elite Q470 and Millennium Power Q3000 – under the company’s new Millennium range. While the Celkon Millennium Elite Q470 has been launched at Rs. 11,999, the Millennium Power Q3000 has been released for Rs. 8,999.

Both smartphones run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

In June, the firm launched its first and also India’s cheapest Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone, the Campus A35K, at Rs. 2,999.
