BSNL offers 2GB free data to new GSM data subscribers

State-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced a free 2GB data offer for its new GSM data subscribers. The offer went live on January 5, 2018 and is available across all circles. So all new BSNL users are eligible for this offer.
BSNL says that offer is valid for all new GSM data users. Also, users who have enabled their GSM data on 3G enabled smartphones are only valid for the offer. The validity of the offer is 30 days. This is only a one time offer so once used user will have to buy data pack to use the mobile data. The new offer, according to BSNL, is part of PM’s Digital India initiative.
BSNL in December joined the feature phone bandwagon by launching Detel D1 feature phone bundled with calling benefits at Rs 499. Buyers who purchase the Detel D1 along with a BSNL SIM will have to pay only Rs 499 and they will get a talktime of Rs 103. Callers will be charged 15paise per minute for calling on any BSNL number and 40 paise per minute for calls to other networks. The validity of the first recharge will be 365 days. BSNL is also giving an access to personalised ringtone for 28 days with the phone.
BSNL recently revamped Rs 187 plan to offer 1GB data and unlimited roaming calls in its operating circles. The plan costs Rs 187 and comes with 28 days validity. BSNL also offers free personalised caller tune for 28 days.
BSNL also has another Rs 186 plan. It offers unlimited local , STD voice calls and 1GB daily data. The offer is valid for 180 days but the data will be available only in the first 28 days of the recharge.
