BlackBerry Unveiles Its Leap Smartphone In India @ Rs. 21,490

BlackBerry has launched the Leap smartphone in India at 03.png.originalRs 21,490. It will be available on all BlackBerry exclusive stores.BlackBerry had unveiled the handset at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year.

BlackBerry Leap comes with a 13cm (5-inch) HD touch display with the resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The phone has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD. Powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, BlackBerry Leap runs on BlackBerry 10 OS (version 10.3) and supports BlackBerry Blend desktop software.

The phone features an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and flash and support for 1080p video capture, and a 2MP fixed-focus front-facing camera with 720p video capture. It also supports Android apps and comes with both Amazon Appstore and BlackBerry World.

Its connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy and EDR, GPS, FM radio and 4G (FD-LTE 1800MHz only). Powered by a 2800mAh battery, it claims to give backup time of 25 hours with heavy use.
