Belkin and Linksys India initiate activities to support Covid-19 relief measures.

Belkin and Linksys India (brands owned by Foxconn group), the market leaders in mobile accessories and networking products have initiated activities to help support local authorities in providing relief measures at the time of the unprecedented pandemic, Covid-19. Belkin and Linksys India, kickstarted this initiative in June this year, with the distribution of masks and sanitizers to local civic authorities in Mumbai.

Kits containing masks and sanitizers were provided to the task force fighting Covid-19 from the Versova Police station and the Corporator for K-West ward in Mumbai. The units provided to the K-West ward were used by the BMC team for volunteers who were involved in testing and taking care of Covid – 19 patients in K-West ward in Mumbai.

Speaking of the initiative, Kartik Bakshi, Country Head, Belkin and Linksys India commented, “The pandemic is unprecedented and has put everyone in an exceedingly difficult situation. This initiative is our humble token of appreciation to the Covid warrior volunteer teams on behalf of our respected authorities, who are saving lives by taking care of coronavirus patients, while putting their own lives at risk.”

“At Belkin, it is ingrained in our global DNA to be a brand that cares for the society which we’re a part of and contribute to a number of social causes. Our activity in India is an important extension of that thought”, he further added.

Kartik also took this opportunity to inform about Belkin International’s venture into the healthcare segment. He said, “Belkin has being a pioneer in solving human needs as they arise. We are dedicated to people inspired designs and quality which is at the core of how we function as a brand, right from user testing and prototyping processes, to regulatory compliances, manufacturing capabilities and warranty programs. Our merger with Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) in 2008 has allowed Belkin to have access to the most powerful and capable manufacturing assets in the world. As an integral brand of FIT, we would also be tapping into its long term strategy of creating new end markets in automotive, industrial and medical systems industries. Looking at the ongoing needs of PPE kits and a suite of health and wellness products in future, I am glad to inform that Belkin would leverage the vertical synergy of its merger with FIT and its own product development legacy to cater to this segment.”
