Aurionpro announces a major order win in Transit space, secures an order in the City of Merida, Mexico

Aurionpro Transit Pte. Ltd., an Aurionpro subsidiary in transit business, announces an order win for the supply of validators and hardware for the rapid transit bus project in the city of Merida, Mexico. The project, which has been awarded by the Government of the State of Yucatán, Mexico, will be delivered through MRP Technology Solutions, its partner in the region.

The Government of the State of Yucatán envisions to develop a metropolitan friendly and sustainable mobility system, locally called VayVen, which will allow the population to make faster and more efficient transfers, to save time and money, in addition to offering smart transportation solutions. This vision includes modernization of the fare collection system towards an open and interoperable system (acceptance of contactless cards, QRs, bank cards) and modernization of the equipment of existing validator equipment in buses. Aurionpro Transit is proud to partner in this initiative and in this first phase, valued at US$1.2 million, to be delivered over next six months, the company will supply SCV500+ onboard validators and GV7 Gate validators in this project, through its partner.
