Asus Zenfone Zoom will be launch on December 1st clear by TENAA certification

Device showcased event but it got bit delayed & haven’t hit the market since. The Asus Zenfone zoom was also showcased at the IFA, Berlin a few month back, Nevertheless it now seems device is ready to be launched.
           Apparently the Asus Zenfone Zoom was spotted clearing TENAA earlier today in China. The Zenfone Zoom sports a 5.5″ Full HD (1920x1080p) display up front along with the three capacitive button and the metallic chin which has become the distinguishing mark of the Zenfone lineup.Asus Zenfone Zoom with 3X Optical Zoom clear TENAA certification

Under the hood is a quad core Intel Z3580 Soc with cores clocked at 2.3GHz each. This is similar to the one seen in the Zenfone 2 (4GB edition). The rest of the specs included 2GB/4GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage. Asus has also hinted about a 128GB variant of the Zenfone Zoom. However it is worth mentioning that the device which cleared TENAA today comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of on board storage. The back of the Zenfone Zoom sports a 13MP rear camera which uses a 3X optical zoom module made by HOYA.Asus Zenfone Zoom with 3X Optical Zoom clear TENAA certification

The camera is further equipped with a OIS and f/2.0 aperture for improved low light performance. Despite sporting a 3X optical zoom module Asus has succeeded to keep the device quite slim at 11.95mm. The rear camera is complimented by a 5MP unit on the front. Asus has also scheduled an event on 1st December in Taipei City to launch the new Zenfone Zoom smartphone. Hence it’s quite natural to see the device clearing TENAA now. Nevertheless it would be interesting to hear about Asus’s plan to launch the smartphone internationally – especially India.
