Asus Zenfone 3 Max gets a price cut in India

Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus has slashed the price of its Zenfone 3 Max smartphone in India. The company launched the smartphone in November last year at a price tag of Rs 12,999. The smartphone is now available at Rs 9,999 after the price cut. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max smartphone is available at all the leading e-commerce and retail stores in the country at its new price tag.
The highlight of the Zenfone Max 3 is its massive 4,100mAh battery that is rated to deliver about 30 days of standby time and upto 20 hours of talktime on 3G as per the company. The handset also acts as a power bank, and comes with a USB OTG cable to enable users to connect and charge other devices.
The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with the Zen UI 3.0 of the company. The device features a 5.2-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. Powering the smartphone is a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by adding a microSD card.
The Zenfone 3 Max offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. On the optics front, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash. It also features a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. The other filters and modes are similar to the one on board the 5.2-inch screen variant.
Recently, Asus launched its VivoBook S15 and ZenBook UX430 at Rs 59,990 and Rs 74,990 respectively in India. The Asus VivoBook S15 features a 15.6-inch a full HD with 178° wide-view technology and NanoEdge display and giving it an 80% screen-to-body ratio. Powered by an 8th Generation quad-core Intel Core i7-8550U and i5-8250U processor with up to 16GB DDR4 2133Hz memory, the laptop has dual storage drives, with a 1TB hard disk drive (HDD) and a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD).
On the other hand, the ZenBook UX430, this is the company’s thinnest ever ZenBook with a discrete graphics card. This laptop sports a 14-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) also with NanoEdge display. The company says that the canvas is 13-inch but the display it includes is of 14-inches. ZenBook UX430 is powered by Intel 8th Generation Core i7 processor with the main memory of 16GB DDR4 (2133MHz) and up to 512 GB storage.
