Asus Unveiles ROG Rampage V Edition 10 Motherboard

Asus has announced its Rampage V Edition 10 flagship
motherboard. The new motherboard is part of the company’s Republic of Gamers (ROG) series. Rampage V Edition 10 is based on Intel X99 chipset.

Rampage V Edition 10 is equipped with include Extreme Engine Digi+ voltage-regulator module (VRM), second-generation ASUS T-Topology technology for maxed-out DDR4 performance, 5-way optimization for overclocking with one click, and Fan Xpert 4 for cooling requirements.

Rampage V Edition 10 comes with external SupremeFX Hi-Fi audio amplifier and dual Gigabit Ethernet from Intel. It also offers the all-new ASUS SafeSlot along with onboard connectivity features like U.2, M.2, USB 3.1, and 3×3 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

” ROG Rampage V Edition 10 has set three world records (WR) and achieved 14 global first places (GFP) in a series of exacting 2D and 3D benchmarks,” claims the company.

It also achieved the highest CPU frequency for an Intel Core i7-6950X processor at 5726.84MHz.Rampage V edition 10 offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi with a 3×3 dual-band 2.4/5GHz for transfer speeds of up to 1300Mbps. It also has the latest NVM Express (NVMe) U.2 and M.2 and boasts data-transfer speeds of up to 32Gbps.

With two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, and two reversible USB 3.1 Type-C, it is backward-compatible with existing USB devices. The Rampage V Edition 10 is also stacked with SATA sockets, with 10 onboard connectors to provide storage-expansion options

The built-in Aura RGB-strip header is compatible with strips made by CableMod, IN WIN, DEEPCOOL, NZXT, BitFenix and Phanteks.
