Asus has unveiled the latest additions to its ‘Republic of Gamers’ (ROG) line-up of gaming laptops – the ROG ASUSGX700 and the ROG Strix GL502. Claimed to be the world’s first liquid cooled laptop, the GX700 is priced at Rs 4,12,990 and comes with a detachable ROG-exclusive Hydro Overclocking System cooling module. It is powered by a 6th-generation Intel Skylake CPU paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, further expandable up to 64GB.

Asus ROG GX700 comes equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 980 GPU, and is thus capable of handling even the most demanding of games. It’s also the world’s first 17-inch 4K UHD gaming laptop to feature NVIDIA ‘s G-SYNC technology for stunningly smooth visuals.

The GX700 features a liquid-cooling dock based on a custom self-sealing valve design and dual 92mm radiators capable of dissipating over 500W of heat. It also packs traditional cooling technology and can thus be used without the cooling dock.

Along with this, the company also unveiled the ROG Strix GL502. The compact gaming laptop has a 15.6-inch 4K display and is powered by an Intel Core i7 CPU. There’s also NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX980M GPU thrown into the mix. The laptop is priced at Rs 1,27, 990.

Asus ROG GX700 will only be available on request through Asus India’s website. The company also claimed that stocks are limited.

Asus Rampage V Edition 10 is equipped with an Extreme Engine Digi+ voltage-regulator module (VRM), along with second-generation T-Topology technology for a maxed-out DDR4 performance. There’s also 5-way optimization for one-click overclocking.
