ASIAN SCHOOL OF CYBER LAWS LAUNCHES CYBER SECURITY PROGRAM FOR COLLEGES & INSITUTIONS

February 8, 2013: Data64 Techno Solutions Pvt. Ltd (Data64) with its education partner Asian School of Cyber Laws (ASCL), has recently launched the Cyber Security (India) Program. The Program is an initiative to help Universities and Colleges across India comply with the latest directive from UGC that requires Universities/technical institutions to introduce cyber security as a subject in the academic curricula at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.

Data64-ASCL aims to partner with academic institutions throughout India for creating awareness about cyber security through this Program. The Program is available in both, digital as well as paper mode. The Digital Mode Program will be entirely online. It will contain courseware and reference material in digital form, an online examination platform where students can take assessments and automated certificate generation for successful students. The paper mode program will comprise of printed courseware and paper based assessment examination.

According to Mr. Debasis Nayak, Director, ASCL-Data64, “There is an urgent need for cyber security awareness in the country. The UGC Directive to introduce cyber security in the academic curricula at the under and post graduate levels is a welcome step in this direction. Our Program is aimed not only at helping colleges comply with the UGC Directive but is a step towards fulfilling the greater objective of making the Indian youth cyber savvy.”
