Angry Birds 2 Now Available For Android Devices

After being listed as one of the most popular games on mobile devices, the long awaited second edition of the Angry Birds has been officially launched with much-hype. With 15 games and three billion downloads, the game was released in 2009. Soon, the original was followed by various versions including Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Friends.

While the concept remains the same, there will be new game mechanics in Angry Birds 2. Gamers would fling birds at pigs in various directions in order to knock them all down. However, now gamers can select the birds of their choice. Also, the game has received a major overhaul with a graphics update. Additionally, the latest version has brought new characters and modes such as lasers and slick new in-flight moves.

Angry Birds had made the right use of its touchscreen and gestures. From tiny tots and grandmas, almost every was seen thumbing away at their phone screens. Angry Birds will be available free with in-app purchases. The game is available only for Android devices as of now .
