After releasing the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Q1000 Opus smartphone, Xolo has now rolled put the 4.4.2 KitKat update for its recently launched Xolo Q1010i, a smartphone that initially runs 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Xolo has released the same as an over-the-air (OTA) update. Also, users can manually download the update from Xolo’s official support site.
The Xolo Q1010i was launched back in April at a price of Rs 13,499. The device features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) HD IPS display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD. Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It decks in a 2250mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 smartphone features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) qHD IPS display with a 540×960 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, USB 2.0, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0. It decks in a 2000mAh Li-ion battery.
